Jeff Wang

Associate Professor

Jeff received his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in 2017, specialized in nanomedicine research in cancer therapy and cancer imaging. From 2017 to 2018, he has conducted risk assessment/management research of cardiovascular disease in Emory University. In 2018, he was recruited to the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology,  Chinese Academy of Sciences. Currently, he is committed to the development of cardiovascular disease detection and management based on nanotechnology and big health data. He is responsible for designing and implementing medical methods for rapid cardiovascular diseases detection that can be widely used among the general population, as well as conducting the corresponding basic research. He has published many papers in academic journals such as advanced materials, advanced functional materials, genomic biology, nanoletters, PNAS, therapeutic diagnosis and tomography, and applied for 2 international patents. His peer-reviewed papers have been cited more than thousand times and he also served reviewers for multiple international journals such as the IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, ACS Nanos and etc....
